Where it started
We met in high school and married in 2015. Kara earned her Bachelor of Science from Oral Roberts University in 2016. We've been building a family and a business side by side ever since, and today we're raising five boys while doing the work of Book Detailing together.

Why we never hand you off
We've been the client who signed with someone great and then got passed to a junior staffer. The care disappeared. We decided we'd never do that to anyone. Our small local team supports our work, but it never replaces us.

What we've seen
We've taken over the books of more than 100 companies, and only one was in good shape. The owners weren't careless. Their books just weren't treated as the system the whole business runs on. Now that AI tools read those numbers, getting them right matters more than ever.

Why clients stay
Our clients stay with us year after year, and many trust us with more than one of their companies, from S corps to 501(c)(3) nonprofits to public companies. Together, more than $25 million a year runs through the books we keep, and every dollar of it is looked after by the two of us. We think that comes down to something simple: we genuinely care, and we stand behind every number we touch.
